Is this a good laptop?

I'm looking at buying a laptop for school purposes, doing some programming. It won't be used for gaming. I Ran across the Lenovo thinkpad E555 during my search and it seems to me at least to be a good laptop. It's priced at $799 but I wanted to hear from you guys if this is good for the money or should I look elsewhere?

I'll be doing some Java EE programming. The IDE is still a tossup between JDeveloper, Eclipse.No game programming so it shouldn't be very intensive. What I really want is for faster bootup time, faster compilation time and icing on the cake would be having other tabs open say videos moreso for tutorials but movies too.
