Is this camera good for recording for youtube

I was hoping to use this camera http/www.amazon.co.uk/Polaroid-HD100-Ultra-1080P-Camcorder/dp/B00A5WPSBY/ref=wl_mb_hu_c_3_dp for recording my gameplay on my ps4 fand xbox 360 (more ps4) for youtube and then hoping to put my videos on my laptop. i have read that I would have to convert the video files but that isn't too much of a problem but the main thing is can it be used on a tri pod? thanks

According to one of the reviews on Amazon (http/www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B00A5WPSBY) it can be mounted on a tripod. Here is the only sample clip I could find on YouTube shot with that camcorder: http/www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MMBzq_RgTs
You could probably use a free program like MPEG Streamclip or Handbrake to convert the file. The camcorder evidently records files as .mov files, which is an Apple QuickTime format. If you want to spend a little money you could upgrade to QuickTime Pro and convert the files if it does indeed save the files as .mov files.
