Is this Dell RAM compatible with this MSI laptop?

Hey guys, first time poster as you can see, just wanted some quick help.
Just asking is this ram made by Dell can be worked into this laptop to make it more worth it.

Never attempted to add ram a laptop so thanks in advance.

You don't say how much ram is already in the device. I ask because that is a large factor.

The information I find on that device (http/www.cnet.com/products/msi-cx62-6qd-047us-15-6-core-i5-6300hq-8-gb-ram-1-tb-hdd/specs/) says it holds a max of 32GB and comes (originally) with 8GB.

Have you added any ram either at the time of purchase, or after purchased? If no, then the one you are looking at 'should' work.
