Question Is this withing Tolerance?

Looks like the backlight is leaking around the edges in some places. I would not be happy with that display myself, but it is a very subjective call. I can't tell what laptop that is. If it's a rather basic unit, probably can't expect much better. If it's a higher-end unit this is not very acceptable.
