I can't seem to properly update my driver...I went to http
/support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx and entered all the correct information.
After I downloaded and then installed the driver, it caused my computer to shut itself down to "protect from damage" and when it restarted my resolution was all messed up. I then restored my computer to a previous date to fix the problem.
Then I tried this approach: Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Device Manager>Display Adapters>and I clicked on my Video Card which brought up a menu that had "Update Driver" as an option so I clicked it. Windows then asked me if I would like for it to automatically search for updates, which is what I chose. It dowloaded and installed the driver but then caused the computer to crash in the same manner, BUT THIS TIME my resolution was fine, everything looked ok, and in the information of my Video Card, the driver had updated from 10.6 to 10.11. However, the current driver atm is 11.11 so I'm at a loss of what to do!
Any help would be had, and thank you for your time!
