ITunes starts, then stops 3 seconds later... :/

When I try to start iTunes, nothing happens when I click on the desktop shortcut, so I decided to go to where iTunes is actually located and start the actual application, still nothing. So I also decided to start iTunes while looking at the task manager, and it seems that iTunes.exe shows up on task manager for about 3 seconds and then disappears. I tried reinstalling iTunes, still nothing. Any solutions for this problem? Thanks in advance.

What operating system are you using and how exactly are you uninstalling the program?

Try this - http/www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Run CCleaner - Uninstall itunes again with CCleaner and then reinstall the application with the newest version off of Apple's website.

I assume you're have an antivirus software running. Try disabling that, and then opening it. If that doesn't solve it, then check the event viewer for errors.
