jack not recongized in a dell inspiron 13 5000 series

I have a Dell inspiron 13 5000 series.

When I'm putting the music through the speakers, it is working fine.

However, when I'm putting headphones into the jack, the music keeps playing in the speaker and not in the headphones.

The word headphones `écouteurs` is displayed but it does not say much.

Same in the config console

As you can see, there is another pair of speakers but those ones are deactivated. It maybe due to that but my troubleshooting instinct tells me the issue lies somewhere else.

And last (see below), the drivers do not have any issues

Questions are :

1. Should I try to reinstall the drivers even though nothing is showing me the issue lies with the drivers?
2. Have you experienced something similar with that line of laptops? If it is the case, how did you solve the issue?

The OS is Windows 10.

Try this...

1. First, plug in your headphones.
2. Now go to "Control Panel" and then click "Troubleshooting".
3. In the "Hardware and Sound" section click on the "" link.
4. Follow the prompts.

Check if you disabled MaxxAudioPro program which comes with Dell Inspiron. In my case none of the other solutions worked, but enabling this made my headphones detectable.
