So my G430 has a usb adapter or has normal jacks for both the headphone and the microphone but when I plug the microphone into the jack ports it makes this fan or wind blowing sound that, I reduced it by minimizing the microphone boost.

Solution
Hi,

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling the sound card driver that maybe is the cause of that issue?
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Sound card driver.
- Once uninstalled reboot your laptop and it will reinstall the driver automatically.
- Do test your laptop again after the reboot and see if the same problem will persist.
- If it doesn't install automatically download and install the latest driver from then manufacturers site.
- Also uninstall/reinstall the driver of your headset.
- Here's the link: http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/g430-7-1-surround-sound-gaming-headset#download
- Just select the correct OS and install it.
