- they are not an 80s band - their debut album "Rocka Rolla" is from 1974, though their best albums are indeed from the 80s
- they have never been a punk band
- they were popular before "Screaming for Vengeance", their best known piece is "Breaking the Law" from their 1980 album "British Steel" (2 albums before Vengeance)
