Keeping OS without cloning?

I'm getting a 1TB SSD and 9.5mm caddy for my laptop. I plan on moving the 1TB HSSD to the caddy in the empty optical drive bay and putting the 1TB SSD in the main housing.

Is there any way to keep the Windows 10 OS that came with my laptop without having to do cloning software/migrating software on my HSSD to my new SSD?

Basically, want to not have to buy another OS disk. I don't mind wiping my drives. But, I'd like to somehow keep the OS that came with the laptop.

Thanks!

It's the Windows 10 that came pre-installed on my Acer E5-573. Little bit of bloat but was easy to remove. Figured I'd keep the OS cause it was pretty much fresh.

Thanks.

If you desire to install on the new drive, with all the original crapware, you can generate your own Factory Reset DVD for this.
And you should create that anyway.

But the clone thing will take the system as it is right now, and port it onto the new drive.
