I spilt some water on my laptop the other day, and the keyboard isnt broken but it won't type anything. The numbers on my mouse don't work either and I've tried a wireless keyboard, but nothing works!

Solution

Remove the keyboard and see if the external one works after that.
Well, you have water damage. How long did you wait for the system to dry out before you turned it on again? Did you take it apart and made sure all the water was gone? You tried an external keyboard and that also does not work? That is not a good sign, could be motherboard damage rather than just a bad keyboard.

I turned it on once a couple hours after the spill, and the keyboard lit up but the screen didn't turn on so I turned it back off, let it dry for 3 days, then took it apart to make sure there was no more water. Even the on-screen keyboard doesn't work
