Hello,
my laptop's keyboard just went haywire for ex. when i press m it displays 0 . And this happened when i turned my laptop on a couple of days ago . Might this be a hardware issue ? because i dont have a hard drive installed on it and im using windows mini from cd so i doubt its a software issue . Do i need a bios reinstall ?

you might be missing drivers, but first, make sure you don't have numlock turned on, since it sounds like your numpad is being printed instead of normal lettering (does Y or U give you 7?)

Well i had to borrow my mini windows CD to a friend ..... I can't find out now .
Btw win mini is standalone and has a dos type interface and i tried other standalone operating systems that run without a hard drive directly from CD . The strange thing is that numlock from bios is turned off is only enabled by FN key . Anyway i will get a new hard drive on wed and will get a proper OS installed . Can i contact you on wed if the problem still persists ? if so add me as a frnd thx
