Kinect For Xbox "One" or "360" for Motion Capture. Which one works on PC with available Softwares?

Hello I want to buy a Kinect to Capture Skeletal motion for some of my Source Film Maker projects and some 3D projects. So I would like to know Should I buy Kinect for Xbox One or Xbox 360. I was going to buy the Xbox one version but saw some tutorials that were using 360's Kinect. I got a bit confused. BTW I am very new to Motion Capture Practically.

I think I will buy Xbox one Kinect with the trial to start with. I want to know what would be the limitations with 1 kinect?. How much good will it be?
