Solved! Kingston A400 or Crucial BX500 SSD?

I’m looking to get a new internal hard drive for my laptop as the previous one has failed. I’m looking at around a 500GB SSD & have got it down to these:

Kingston A400
Crucial BX500

Which is the better to go for?

Which is the better to go for?

Neither.

The BX500 is a much older model, and there are much better drives than the Kingston.

Crucial MX500 or Samsung 860/870 EVO would be my recommendations.
