Klipsch Image S5i has an overpowering Bass

I just received my Image S5i and on my iPod they're fine, but when I play anything on my PC, it blocks out any voice / highs. The Bass is loud but the voice /highs are extremely soft

Strangely, when I hold the play arrow button on the audio controls on the earphone cord, it resolves my problem and I can hear the voice / highs.

But I don't want to hold down the play button whenever I'm listening to music on YouTube or iTunes, so is there a solution to this problem?
Are my earphones defective?

P.S. - When I play music on my iPod, they are super clear and just perfect. It has a balance of the bass and the highs. Just not for my PC.

You have audio software in the computer and an equalizer. You have to open and adjust your audio settings.
You can adjust more and less bass, etc...
To find the instructions, consult your audio hardware manufacturers website.
