Kodi TV Recording

I have a standard Kodi XMBC box rather than Kodi on my PC & would like to know if there is a way to record series links from live air TV rather than having to replace my existing box for a built in TV tuner Kodi box via a coaxial cable please? Ideally I would like to know of any FREE addons that gives the user the ability to record from an EPG rather than having to select each & every time the programme is on please.

I have a standard Kodi XMBC box which I would like to watch & record live air TV seriesprogrammes through without the need of buying an upgraded Kodi TV tuner box, so is there any FREE addons that I can download please? I do hope to record TV series links from an EPG if that is possible please....
