we have two new laptops in the house,
one Dell, one ASUS
both windows 8
Both are having issues with connecting headsets with dual plugs into the adapter and then into the singles headset port. Yes we have the 4 post adapter, the sound works but the mic is not showing up. if we disable the built in mic the headset mic isn't even visible. it is the same with both laptops, so I'm guessing its a windows 8 issue, I updated the drivers, and have searched all kinds of trouble shooting. hoping someone can help.
