laptop around $1000 for productivity and light gaming

So i'm looking for a laptop for uni.I will use it for work in photoshop,illustrator,some video editing and light gaming.I plan on taking my pc monitor as well,so hdml port is a must have.Also i could reuse my ssd from my current pc.

I've heard that this model had bad tn panel,everything else seems good

Yeah...Dell has an annoying habit of doing that - my old Studio had a horrible viewing angle screen as well. Then they've got an amazing 4K display on the XPS 15.

The Legion Y520 is also worth a look. Good screen on those, same price point, but 4-core i5.

I'm not from the usa and i tought that the dollar is a bit mor expensive,so i checked and 1200$ is in budget.
