Laptop battery brand

hi,
i just wanted to ask that my laptop battery dies real quick. so im looking for a new battery. i have a hp brand laptop. if i bought a dell brand battery for it. will it work?
and if i bought a hp brand would it a g6 version run a dv4...etc version?:?? :

No, batteries are not interchangeable like that, a Dell battery is not going to work on a hp laptop. You need to find a battery that was designed to work on your system. Best way would be to look for one with the same part number as you have now.
