laptop battery discuss

i plugged my laptop without the battery inside just to test the laptop and it displayed no battery is detected ,yet the picture displays that its 100% what does that mean?

Could we have some more info on this maybe a screenshot? Your question is a bit unclear, do you mean windows is displaying at 100% or?
