Laptop boot failed

Hello guys. Please I need your help concerning my toshiba satellite a65 laptop. Whenever I switch it on, it only writes "No bootable disk in adapt1, check cable. Exiting PXE ROM, press any key when ready". When I press any key, it keeps on repeating the same statement over and over again. Please, what can I do?
