Laptop buying advice

Hello guys. I'm looking for a good laptop that I can use for school while playing games decently. It doesn't have to be on ultra. I just want a good performance to graphics ratio. I would prefer an Intel i7, 8 gigs of ram, 14", 1tb hdd, and a good nvidia graphics card. My budget is $1000 and I want to play games such as titanfall, bf4, wolfenstein, and other new games.

The specs of the laptop won't last you very long. After a little while the laptop wont be able to run anything. Video game wise.

Ok, really sorry about this, I overlooked that the laptop has SLI 755 and 750. Really sorry about that. The laptop will probably last a good while there are better laptops but this one it pretty good, go for it. Sorry for the mixup, my bad

The GT 755M in the Y410p really isn't that fast. He's right in saying it won't last long. You'll be stuck with lower settings in 1080p now, and in 1-2 years you'll be either all the way on low or forced into crappier resolutions.

You can get this Lenovo Y510p with two of those GT 755M's on SLI, making it significantly more powerful and a little faster than a single GTX 860M. That will likely get you more time.

When I was looking at the Y410p I thought it had SLI. If not then don't get it and try for the Y510p.
