Hello guys I have a Acer Aspire V5-552p(http://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-V5-552-X814-15-6-Inch-Laptop/dp/B00EY50MKK) and it seems to have a problem... When the computer is unplugged(not charging) the CPU frequency is a constant 3.5(used amd overdive) but when I connect the charger it drops to 2.5 sometimes 1.5... I have the exact same power settings for both on battery and charging.. Please help, I cant play games like this :(

is there a major performance difference?
if yes, then the laptop sees that it is charging and to actually "charge" it needs to lower performance so the amount of energy used up is less than taken in from charging. there is nothing you can do here.
else you should not care

I play a game called Crossfire, when charging I have 30-60 fps, when not charging I have 80-150. Same with League of Legends, 57-69(sometimes drops to 30) when charging, 85-150~ when not charging... So yes, there is a major difference in performance but I can't seem to find a fix this anywhere...

Hmm I dont think I can open my pc without messing it up lol... anything else I can do? Is there a way to just keep the the cpu at 3.5?

Also I ran the AMD Overdrive benchmark test and it gives me 6200ish when plugged in and 7000~ when not plugged in...
