I've had this laptop(Asus Q324UA) for around three years now. As soon as I got it I realized the fans were pretty loud but my computer was pretty cool. Over the years my computer has gotten very hot and I don't know why. Currently st idle my cpu sits at around 70-80C according to HWMonitor. Putting the bottom of my laptop on my laptop burns my thigh. Any and all help is appreciated.

Solution
Remove the heatsink, clean out the system, and apply new thermal paste to the heatsink before re-installing it. Make sure you use the correct (small) amount of thermal paste, too much is about as bad as not enough.
