Laptop crashed, restarted and only get black screen

Basically my screen broke about 7 months ago, and I've only just had the money to get it repaired.
The bloke in the shop golem emitll run slowly, and to update my Windows etc.

Thing is, at first every time I booted the laptop up it would work for a white, then crash and I'd have to restart it. Now, when I turn it on there is nothing whatsoever on the screen, and it occasionally makes a weird whirring noise.


Any ideas majorly welcome

hard drive issue to me. I would send it into your manufacturer
