Laptop Cursor Issues

Salutions!

I am having issues with the cursor on my Acer Aspire 3690 laptop. It makes gray boxes with broken lines, scrolls unnecessarily, selects things I do not want it to select, etc. Please, please, please help me fix this! I would be eternally grateful because I am losing my mind!

are you using a touch pad? if so, adjust the touchpad settings to disable features such as dragging and double-triple tapping.

if not, you will have to get some of these:
Free anti-virus:
-avast
-AVG
-Microsoft Security Essentials

Free anti-spyware/anti-malware:
-malware bytes
-spybot search & destroy
-super anti-spyware
