Laptop display not working!

Hi i am having a problem with my laptop
The model is hp pavilion g6 1200tx
....the problem is with my display. When ever i start my laptop the display doesn't light up..just blank screen...other than that every component works fine like the dvd drive hdd the fn buttons and everything works fine but the display isn't working...please help!

If you connect an external monitor, you have something on the screen?

no....tried that too! Do you think my motherboard is faulty?

If you tried the Fn + F? keys to change between screens and you don't have anything on both screens, laptop an external, the GPU is defective on the motherboard.

Actually....i wanted to ask. Does the sharing of screens work in bios cause i can't boot into windows right now as i was trying out hackintosh :/
