I have an hp Pavilon and it hasn't been shutting down completely (power light remains on) and this drains the battery and causes it to overheat.
This happened after I upgraded to Windows 10, and I know it's due to possible incompatibility. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I upgraded the BIOS but still no luck.

Hi,

Try to check the power button function f it's set to shut down the laptop.
- Right click on the battery icon on the bottom right and select Power Options.
- On the left pane click on "Choose what the power buttons do".
- "When I press the power button" make sure it's set to Shut down.
- Also disable Fastboot.
- Click Save changes then try to shut it down.
