Laptop for college/games

Hi, I'm buying a new laptop next month, but I really don't know much about them. So i would like you to help me with some tips about good models that will fit my needs.

What I'm looking for is a 17 inch laptop, with a good GPU (no need to be the best in the world, just enough to run games like Dota 2, Diablo 3, Guild Wars and Star Craft in medium/high resolution) and it can't be really thick. I'm not expecting something like a Mac, but at least not just as tick as those gaming laptops.

The perfect laptop for me would be the Razer Blade, but the price is way too high (I was hoping something around 1000 or 1500) so you can take him as a model.

You aren't giving us much info to work with, bro. I can name 20 different laptops under $1,500. You want high/medium settings? Fast CPU? I would look at XoticPC.com. Check out the Sager P370. Very upgradeable.

I recommend you check out the Samsung Series 7 Gamer http/wuggee.com/laptop/samsung-series-7-gamer-np700g7c-t01us which can be had for just under $1500. Im not sure how thin you prefer your laptop to be but this one really packs some punch under its casing. Spec include:
