Doesn't matter would be plugged in 90% of the time.

I would be playing games like league of legends, bioshock infinite, dayz. I prefer medium to high.
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Compiling, running scripts, streaming on twitch (I'm a streamer)
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
At least 1tb, I prefer an ssd as well.

I'm going to be a CS major and I need/want a good laptop for gaming and my major. I currently have a desktop w/ an i5 3570k and 660ti, I am debating to bring it with me in the dorms.
I prefer Windows 7, but I can deal with Windows 8.
Options:
Option 1: Buy a new laptop w/ beefy specs to satisfy both gaming and college needs.
Option 2: Bring desktop to college, and buy a cheaper laptop that would still work with my major.
