Laptop for gaming/schooling

Looking for a laptop for my 12 year old son. He likes to play lots of games and uses the computer for his homeschooling. Need speed. Only have about $700 to spend. Found this laptop and was wondering if this will be good?

Laptop is easier. Especially for the schooling part.

Ok thx. That MSI laptop will be good for his homeschooling, however not great for gaming if he plays any game that is a year old or newer.
