Laptop freezes after 10 minutes of use

Hello everybody.. im having a problem, my laptop freezes completely after 10 minutes of use, like i cant move the mouse, the screen doesnt move at all, i cant call the task manager- nothing . It only fixes it if i turn it off using the power button and when i turn it on again it works perfectly fine but in 10 minutes it freezes again when i open a web browser like opera or chrome.. any help? i have a Lenovo G5080 15.6" (i55200U/4GB/500GB/HD 5500). Use Reliability History/Manager and Event Viewer to look for error codes and warnings just before or at the time of the freezes.

Is this a new problem, or did it work fine before?

OS is windows 8.1 and yes this is definitely a new problem it hasnt happened before.
