I have an Asus a45 vs series and I just bought it 1 month ago with an Intel core i7 3630M processor and a nvidia gt 645m
graphics processor ...the proble is it keeps on freezing whenever I open apps and stuff I don't really understand!why would it freeze it is an INTEL CORE I7 PROCESSOR but it still freezes!
I don't get it !my uncle's laptop which is already 6 years old but it is still very solid and fast!So why does my new laptop freezes?please help!

Have you checked the heatsink for dust? Typically the gap between fan and heatsink inside the unit can build up a wall of dust over time. This can cause over heat, the resulting freezing and possible thermal shut down. If the fins allow for it, you can shine a flashlight through and look for the tell tale brown fuzz. Ideally you need to dismantle the unit to get at that area for cleaning. Every model is different. In a pinch you can blow compressed air through the fins to blow out the dust block.

Impossible It's only 1 month old i don't think dust can build up that fast

sounds like bad sectors on the HDD to me. Graphics overheating can also cause this so keep the laptop well ventilated and check for bad sectors.
