laptop hdmi input or output

does my hp notebook 15-ac173tu have a hdmi input if not how do I connect a cpu to the laptop

Your laptop has an HDMI output, no HDMI input.
Not sure I'm understanding the rest of your question. What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Are you referring to attaching an external GPU for gaming purposes? If so, I THINK you'd need a USB-C port on your laptop, and you don't have one.
