i have an asus k53e with an i3-2330m and 4gb ddr3 ram. it has windows 7 OS and intel HD 3000 igpu. how can i improve performance in World of Warcraft for cheap

Lower the settings. That's really about all you can do. It should definately be playable with a resolution of 1024*768 and medium settings. Expirament with the settings and see what has the best balance of detail and playablity.
