Solved! Laptop issue dies when open program works fine on charger

I've got a 2018 RCA laptop is a simple 2 in 1 with 3.65ghz and 8 gb of ram and it works purfect on the charger and it says it's charging and I've checked cause it is and I can unplug it and itll run til I try and open a new program and it runs fine if I'm using a program that's already open like games or Chrome. But as soon as I try and open something like file manager or anything at all it just dies and when I try to boot it without a charger it starts to boot and right before the lockscreen appears it shuts down unless it's plugged in idk what to do... If anyone can help I'd be greatful
