Laptop LAN Driver issue

Ok, so I recently swapped hard drives on my laptop. The hard drive put in the laptop is telling me that there are no network adapter drivers detected, and it tells me to go to the website of the manufacturer, and download them. Problem is, there is no driver detected for my ethernet port or wireless adapter, so I cannot go onto their website to download them. I have tried downloading the drivers by saving them on a flash drive and executing the file from there, and nothing happens. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

Go here and click LAN and download the latest Atheros LAN driver. When you put it on a flash drive copy it from the flash drive to the desktop/hard drive of the laptop that you need to install it on, don't launch it from the flash drive (It shouldn't cause any problems, but just to be safe)
