Laptop LCD broken or not?

Hi! Today i replaced my laptop motherboar on a asus k56cb, because the last one fried. But now when i turn on the pc my screen was with bars and whiteand dont display anything. When i plugged to an external monitor it worked fine. My question is... did my motherboard fried as well the monitor? Thanks

i would remove the cable from motherboard to lcd and re-attach.

i was messing arround to see more about the new motherboard and found out that this motherboard is for an asus s550cb, that is exacly the same as the asus k56cb but with a touch screen. I think the screen doesnt work with this motherboard. This is what happens https/ibb.co/gkabMm
