Laptop makes popping/staticy noise when playing music and browsing webpages

Brand new laptop has been making these noises since day one. It was worse before I did something to increase the RAM (sorry I don't remember what it was).

I'll play music in the background and as soon as a webpage starts loading the music will slow down and the speakers will start popping no matter the media player. I have tried the driver update but it still does not work. any help is appreciated!

What do you mean it was worse before "you did something to increase the RAM"? You haven't been fooled by those download RAM sites have you?

No no I'm horrible with all this tech lingo though. OH okay so I changed the Virtual memory to take from two drives(?) instead of one and it helped a lot. it was horrible before I did this. My total paging file size for all drives is 3200MB Idk if this is important but it certainly helped last time I messed with it. I have 8GB of RAM so I don't think I'd be needing more anytime soon.
