laptop never start

My compaq presario cq-40 pressing the power on button, battery charging led indicator blinks three times and never start. can somebody help me o fix this problem would be appreciated.

Hi,

Try doing a hard reset with it first. Remove the battery and AC adapter off it then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds. Put just the AC adapter back in then try if it power on. If that doesn't do the trick reset the RAM as well. Remove them all for couple of seconds then just put them back together and try to power it on.
