Laptop not booting

Toshiba L505, A/C power light ON, D/C power light ON, Switch power light comes ON...no hard drive action. Any solutions?

Not much comes to mind on this one, try removing/reinserting the hard drive in case of some sort of 'not proper connection'. I assume you see a POST display, does it give error 'no hard drives detected', if so it's possible the drive became faulty. Can check BIOS to see if it is detecting it. See if you can hear if it's whining/spinning, would tell you pretty quick if it's dead or not.

the hard drive has been removed several time along with memory. There has been no screen display. Nothing but the switch power light and the fan comes on when turned ON.

Sorry , I don't have much on this one. If it won't post with 1 stick of ram, and no hard drive I'd suspect you have a hardware issue, with either the CPU or the motherboard. Sorry :( maybe someone else will have another idea for you to try.
