Laptop not powering on, Battery is charging

Hi,
My dell Vostro 3400 is not booting when I press the power button. However When I plug the power adapter the charging light is working.. No other lights or sound of anykind... any idea?

Try holding down the power button for 10 to 30 seconds. That will force the computer to turn off if it's frozen.

If that doesn't work, try unplugging the power adapter, remove the battery, wait about 15 seconds, then replace the battery and power and try booting.
