laptop not switching on

I have recently bought a Dell Inspiron 15, 3000 series. Perfectly happy with it until one morning I tried to switch on and the light just flashed and nothing happened. After a few tries, I just left it and came back a while later and it came on no problem. Now this has happened about three times and I have no idea what is going on for this to happen. Any suggestions as to what is happening here?

Sounds like your laptop is going to sleep or hibernate. Check your power settings and adjust if needed.
