laptop office use high battery

i am going to join IBM for my new job next march. I want to get a laptop which one would be suitable for office work with a high battery power and memory?

You don't think they would supply you one that meet their requirements for software and security?

Also unless they are expecting you to take your work hone with you Id imagine youd be using a desktop
