Laptop or Car for 15 year old

I turned 15 back in May and am now considering the fact that I will eventually need a car within the next year - 1 1/2 years. Right now I am currently at about $500 and cannot decide whether I should get a laptop for some light gaming and school work mainly or if saving my money for a car would be better down the road. What should I do?

Unless you plan on fixing that car yourself, you're going to a lot more funds than that to get something reliable. Also, a $500 dollar laptop would probably only get you something with an integrated graphics card, so if you were to game on it, you'd have to kill the settings, OR only play older titles.

you might be able to build a budget gaming desktop though.
