Because there was a discount for the laptop ...i just want to know if i could run an old game like wow on max settings...

It's not a great gaming card.
It would run WoW:Cataclysm on medium settings.
Starcraft II on low settings.

Yeah it won't able to run WOW at higher settings as WR2(expert) say.
I think in this budget or by expanding little more you can go for better one.

That laptop actually has 2 video GPUs
AMD Radeon HD 6470M review a separate discrete graphics card
AMD Radeon HD 6520G review an IGP built on the APU chip.

AMD A-Series A6-3410MX APU review it's a 1.6Ghz APU (2.3 GHz TurboCore).
