Laptop Recommendation w/ Touch, Integrated Optical Drive

Looking for a laptop for my wife. The necessary specs are:

8 GB RAM
15.6" Touch Display
Optical Drive

Recommendations? I prefer to stay away from the cheapest entry level models; too much plastic. This is her only computer and it goes wherever she goes.

Not a heavy user. No CAD, no video editing, no photo shopping. Primarily MS Office apps, web surfing, streaming movies, etc. Based on what I have seen I expect to spend around $700. Right now I am thinking about a Dell Inspiron 15-5000 or a HP Envy 15t Touch. Both are 6th gen i7.

One comes with a video card with 4 gb ram. The other has an integrated card. Is it worth getting the dedicated video card? Does it detract from battery or add to processor heat?
