Question Laptop refuses to use dedicated Nvidia GPU, uses integrated Intel.

My laptop refuses to use Nvidia GPU and uses integrated instead. I've tried installing drivers, forcing games to play with dedicated to no avail. When I try to force all games to run on dedicated through Nvidia control panel it give me "Error Unable to apply settings to your system." Any Ideas?
Happened after I factory reset my laptop. When I did it asked me something about the bios and I wiped it I think. But my bios options are very basic, I have no option for display.

Which laptop brand and model is it?

Install all drivers from the manufacturer´s support homepage. Installing e.g. nvidia.com drivers can lead to such problem.

Update the BIOS if possible

Update the operating system
