Okay so I got a Toshiba laptop from a friend and had it for a couple of months. It ran perfectly fine but so much of his stuff was on it that I figured it would just be faster to do a factory reset.

In the middle of the reset though my daughter turned off the computer. I had a problem with it turning on with it saying BoostMGR can not be found.

I left my laptop alone for a while because at the time I was hit with several bills and couldn't afford to get it looked it (its way past its warranty).

Well I finally took it to Geek Squad and they put Windows Vista back on but now it runs really really slow. Like it takes ten minutes to load up one web page. While writing this ive been checking for Windows updates and its been running for 20 minutes.
