I have Dell precision M6600 with Nvidia Quadro 3000m GPU. I am using MSI Afterburner for monitoring temperature, gpu clock and memory clock. Laptop display never goes black on battery. But when charger is plugged in and any GPU load is given, GPU starts to increase its memory clock as well as it starts to heat up. If it reaches 60 celsius or beyond, the displays goes black but laptop itself is on. A forced reboot is needed to make display come back again.
I tried to lower down gpu and memory clock till minimum (from afterburner) seems to work fine first but now even on lowest clocks, GPU can reach 60 celsius when load is given and trips the display off.
I bought this laptop expensive due to quadro 3000m for gaming purpose but now i m restricted to use this laptop for window based operations.

There is no GPU fan i assume.(fan speed slider greyed out in Afterburner)
Plz do let me know if there is a software based solution or do i have to change my gpu. Thanks :(
